Can you tell us something about your old apartment?
My sister and I decided to sell the apartment that belonged to our mother. It was a very nice one-bedroom apartment on Via Cabella, in a very pleasant but also very convenient and peripheral area.

What made you sell it?
When our mother died we decided that it was best to keep the apartment, but without using it or renting it. I'm skeptical about renting, so I didn't consider the option of a long-term lease because you never know who you might be dealing with; another option was to turn it into a bed and breakfast, but in that case it would have been necessary to find someone to take care of it. I know that companies that do this type of work are able to do it themselves, but the apartment was my second home and I don't think there is a booming market in that area to guarantee continuous rent. So we decided to sell it.
Was it already on the market before contacting Casavo? If so, how long has it been on the market?
I tried to publish an ad and I had about 25 people interested, 24 of whom were real estate agencies. I placed an ad on Immobiliare e Subito and it was a sort of investment because I paid for the ad for 3 months with the possibility that it would appear at the top of the category ads every week. Actually, I have to say that there was a great response in the first week, but there were only agencies. They were agencies that wanted to act as intermediaries between my sale and the buyer. The problem was not paying their commission, but I couldn't rely on 25 different agencies. It wasn't worth it. In addition, I decided to experiment a bit in the first 15-20 days to see what kind of response I would have without intermediaries.
I must say that I experienced this type of sale only for a short time, also because I was contacted by Casavo shortly after.
How did you discover Casavo and what prompted you to entrust us with the sale?
I didn't know Casavo, but I was contacted by telephone by Daniele, who had found my ad on the websites on which I had sold the apartment. After our conversation, he came to see me, saw it and explained to me how it works with Casavo. That's where it all started.
I must say that I immediately received your proposal which, in theory, was very interesting, so we had to put it into practice. I followed your procedure and was able to sell my apartment immediately. There were some bureaucratic aspects that caused a slight delay, since the apartment was inherited and there were extra documents to provide, but it was only a bureaucratic issue and not the process itself.
How did you find this sales process?
Casavo deals with a series of tasks: it is true that there is a cost, but, frankly, it is the same result with market negotiations. In addition, the cost is offset by the fact that it is not necessary to follow the process until the sales contract, so it is already a time saver for those who work. So in reality it is much easier to sell a property, also because it is possible to renovate it and increase its value.
Would you recommend Casavo to anyone?
Yes, I would definitely recommend this sales process. I talked about it with some people, out of curiosity because I was impressed by this new formula and also to let some people know about buying a property.
