Casavo, the market-leading Italian PropTech platform for the Instant Buying real estate model, has decided to implement a new smart working policy. The policy allows all its employees in Europe to manage their time autonomously, placing trust at the center and giving importance to the objectives achieved and to individual responsibility.
Before 2020, only 570 thousand people defined themselves as flexible workers, according to the Smart Working Observatory of the School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano. But today, with the so-called 'new normal', remote work has become a necessity that has ended up involving a large number of people. In fact, as many as 73% of remote workers have found a positive effect of remote work on business performance. Many have developed new routines and a new balance between personal and work life, no longer compatible with the traditional interpretation of the workplace.
Today, the Casavo team, made up of more than 270 people between Italy and Spain, has the opportunity to work remotely with maximum flexibility. In agreement with their direct manager and depending on the role, team members can choose whether to work mainly remotely, from the office or alternating the two modes in “remote-friendly” mode.

However, Casavo offices will not be abandoned, but rather reinvented. They will become dynamic spaces where the added value will derive from the opportunity to meet others. They will promote the creative and informal exchanges that are the basis of every innovation, especially between people with different skills or coming from different parts of the organization.
Casavo has also completely redesigned the tools and business processes with the aim of ensuring that internal communication, onboarding and team building activities are remote-friendly, that is, developed with the aim of being effective for everyone, both in person and remotely.
In addition to meeting the needs of current employees, with this decision Casavo opens up to an even wider pool of talents which will further enrich the company's cultural diversity by including candidates from all over the world.

“At Casavo, we have always focused everything on our team. Skills, passion and motivation are essential for a startup, he says Marta Raimondi, Chief Human Resources OfficeKing of Casavo. “For this reason, we decided to introduce a policy that responds to the new needs that have emerged in the last two years, which have demonstrated that remote work is not an obstacle to productivity if accompanied by clear objectives and a strong involvement in the company mission.”
