Little time available and the desire to buy the first home, already renovated. A difficult challenge, until Samuela found the house she imagined, a Casavo property in the central area of Bologna. In addition to the house, she also found our team, and from there her experience was born.
She told us about it in this interview.
1. Tell us a little about yourself: where do you live and what do you do?
I have been living in Bologna for four years, I moved from Calabria for work. I work in an office, dealing with administrative and accounting back office in Castel Maggiore.
2. Tell us about your new home! What made you decide to buy it? Was it a long search or was it love at first sight?
I had been looking for a house for about six months, and the decision to buy matured within me last summer. However, I was afraid of taking such a demanding step because it requires time, maximum commitment, and dedication; with work commitments, it's difficult to reconcile everything. One of the things I wanted to avoid, for example, was finding a house that needed to be completely renovated. In big cities, in university towns like Bologna, finding a renovated house ready to move into is difficult; often, in fact, they need to be completely remodeled. During my search, I often came across this type of property, and I struggled to imagine them fixed up. For me, this was a big question mark.
When I arrived at this two-room apartment, which I later bought, the renovation was underway, and this already relieved me of many doubts and worries. There was someone taking care of every aspect, and seeing the finished project was very exciting. The virtual images I found on the site further helped me imagine what my home would be like.
3. What other features were you looking for?
The centrality of the area, I live on Via Lombardi which is a stone's throw from the center. I already lived in this area and wanted to stay. The location of the house is perfect for my needs.
4. Can you describe your experience with us? What aspects surprised you most?
I made the offer in February and by April the house was already mine. I didn't think I could do everything in such a short time, Casavo surprised me. Unlike buying from a private individual, with Casavo everything was simpler because every detail had already been defined.
Another aspect that really impressed me is the Casavo team. In addition to being young and dynamic, it is also well-structured, which allows for reduced time. Paride, my contact, supported me at all times, both in the pre-sale and post-sale phases. One thing that really impressed me is the attention given to the customer. I requested a door between the kitchen and the hallway that wasn't included in the design, and Casavo helped me get it. Paride put me in touch with the supplier and also supported me during the purchasing phase.
5. Together with the house, you also purchased a Veneta Cucine kitchen thanks to the discount dedicated to Casavo customers. Can you tell us how it went?

6. What should not be missing in your dream home?
For me, the kitchen is one of the most important elements of the house; it must be welcoming and warm, just like me.
