Casavo, the leading Italian PropTech platform with the Instant Buying real estate model, has decided to implement a new smart working policy that allows all employees in Europe to independently manage their time, placing trust at the center and attaching importance to the objectives achieved and the responsibilities of the individual.

Before 2020, only 570,000 people defined themselves as agile workers according to the Smart Working Observatory of the School of Management of the Milan Polytechnic, but today, with the so-called "New Normal," smart working has become a necessity that has ended up involving a large number of people. In fact, a full 73% of smart workers have found a positive effect of remote working on the organization's performance: many have developed new habits and a new balance between personal and work life, no longer compatible with the traditional interpretation of the workplace.

Today the Casavo team, made up of over 270 people between Italy and Spain, has the possibility of working remotely with maximum flexibility, choosing (in agreement with their managers and depending on the role) whether to work primarily in smart working, mainly in person or in remote-friendly mode, with a regular alternation between the two options.

Team Casavo

However, the Casavo offices will not be abandoned at all, but rather rethought: they will become a dynamic space, places whose added value lies in the possibility to meet and foster the creative and informal exchange that is the basis of any innovation, especially between different professionals and teams.

Casavo has also completely redesigned company tools and processes, with the aim of ensuring that internal communication, onboarding and team building activities are remote friendly, that is, designed to be effective for everyone, both in person and remotely.

In addition to meeting the needs of current employees, Casavo has thus chosen to open itself to an even wider talent pool that will further enrich the cultural diversity of the company by providing for the inclusion of profiles from all over the world.

Team Casavo

“At Casavo we have always focused everything on the team: in a startup, skills, passion and motivation are fundamental” says Marta Raimondi, Chief Human Resources Officer of Casavo. “This is why we decided to introduce a policy that responds to the new needs that have emerged over the last two years, which have shown us that remote working is not an obstacle to productivity if accompanied by clear objectives and strong involvement in the company mission.”
