Hi Ludovica, tell us about your new home! Have you been dreaming about it for a long time? Was it a long search or was it love at first sight?
Finding the perfect home in a city like Milan is a real treat. It was more complicated than I thought. The search lasted about a year; I'm a very picky person when it comes to major purchases.
I didn't want to take care of anything, I wanted a turnkey house that was on a high floor and in the city center. I looked in different areas of Milan and when I found the most convenient neighborhood for me, this house came up at perfect timing. It was definitely love at first sight, it had everything I could want and even more.
The house is the perfect size for one person or couple. Initially I thought it was small, but only because it was small. I didn't have a perception of the size of the furniture and therefore the space was distorted, furnished it was obviously completely different. Besides this, I didn't expect many other aspects: I bought the house on paper, so the first time I saw it it was all rubble, I practically couldn't see outside because the shutters were down. Once the work was finished, it was a relief to see the balcony, so much light came in! Furthermore, the house doesn't directly overlook other buildings and allows a bit of privacy. In short, I was very happy, I didn't expect to fall in love with it so much. a lot.
Why? Have you chosen to rely on Casavo?
Among the myriad of house ads I saw over the past year, there was always something that told me "you can find better," and since this is my first home (where I hope to live for a while), I wanted it to at least meet all my basic requirements: high floor, elevator, bright, and renovated. Obviously, there was a very low probability that I would be able to find a house like that with the budget I had, until I saw several ads that all led back to Casavo.
When I looked at the other ads, I almost got discouraged because The ones to be renovated were literally hovels and there were no photos of what the finished apartment could look like, or they were never entirely clear. Can you describe your experience with us? What aspects positively surprised you?
The experience was The experience was definitely positive. I've already alerted some friends who, like me, were looking for a house to check the Casavo website, because they would surely find something that suited them. From the first moment, they were immediately very willing to accommodate my requests before the work began, and to accommodate me when possible, or otherwise discuss it to find the most suitable solution. Even though the renovation wasn't my responsibility, I always felt part of the project. I was kept informed of everything that was happening, and through the agency I was able to see the house during the various phases of the work.
What shouldn't be missing in your dream home?
I have always been I'm used to having a terrace or an outdoor space where I can relax and get some fresh air. Even though my balcony isn't very big, having one is already a big deal for me. The important thing is to fit a table and two chairs. Obviously, if we're talking about a dream home, a huge terrace with a view of the top floor is a must, and because... no, even a hydromassage tub.
An adjective to describe the experience with Casavo
As banal as it may seem, I describe my experience as pleasant. My expectations were exceeded, I had no particular problems and I didn't have to worry about anything.
