Luca and Cristina
Tell us a little about yourselves: what do you do?
Hi, we're Luca and Cristina, we live in Turin and we work in the insurance industry; we're both insurance clerks.
Tell us moreù of your new home! Have you dreamed of it for a long time? Yes è dealt with a long research or è Was it love at first sight?
Cristina: Our desire was to continue living in the city of Turin, and mainly in the neighborhood where we were renting, San Donato. Having bought a house on Corso Principe Oddone, we didn't move far from that area, and so we continue to be true Turinese!
We decided to buy a house in October 2019, when we defined the first objectives such as "Where do we want to live?" and "Do we want to move from the center?", and so we started looking in the San Donato area.
We started looking at houses between November and December, but none of them met our needs and it certainly wasn't love at first sight.
After the Christmas holidays we saw the house we later bought. We visited it for the first time in mid-January, and upon entering I immediately noticed the aspects that I considered most important. For me, it was love at first sight!
Luca: We had seen many historic houses to renovate or some new solutions that, however, didn't fully satisfy us. This one, however, represented an excellent compromise because It is a property renovated with a taste that matches ours, and is in a historical context. In fact, the property dates back to the 19th century and retains all its charm.
Why? Did you choose to rely on Casavo?
We got there through a back door: we saw the property ad on an online platform, we scheduled an appointment with the real estate agent, and then, during the final offer phase, we were introduced to Casavo.
Can you describe your experience with us? What aspects positively surprised you?
Cristina: I was positively impressed by the renovation, we found it well done, with excellent quality materials. and with very satisfying taste parameters.
Luca: Among the positive aspects, certainly all the assistance received throughout the process and the ease in communicating with team members.
What shouldn't be missing in your dream home?
Cristina: One thing that should never be missing is the complete replacement of the window frames with new, good-quality ones, like those supplied by Casavo.
Luca: In our case, definitely the terrace, which is was the discriminating factor that also convinced us to make the purchase.
