Hi Giuseppe, can you tell us a little about your old house?

It wasn't mine, but my dad's, I inherited it. I didn't like it though, I wouldn't have wanted to live there. Plus The central location (right across the street from the University) was a drawback, which wasn't a favorable factor for me. So I preferred a more sophisticated home, and decided to sell my father's.

What led you to sell?

The house had an unfortunate cut, to be made usable it would have needed of even major interventions. This put me and my brother in difficulty: we would have had to advance capital, follow the work, etc. My brother in particular was not very inclined, given the business risk. We were involved for a year with various real estate agents, receiving only unsatisfactory offers. However, it was a very valuable house in terms of location and view, therefore potentially very beautiful, but in reality not so.

Had you already put it up for sale before contacting Casavo? If so, how long did it remain on the market?

Actually, we didn't contact Casavo, but it was It was one of the agencies in collaboration with you that presented us with the opportunity. I called the agency but I was clear: we had already given the mandate to others, the house was already on online platforms, and I did not intend to withdraw from the existing contracts. It would only have made sense if the agent had an immediate buyer. The agent unexpectedly specified that he had a client willing to buy, namely Casavo: so I called the agent and they got in touch.

How did you discover Casavo and what made you trust us?

We chose to trust you because We received an offer higher than the last one we had, about €50,000 more; at a certain point, between IMU, TASI, and concierge, the ideal solution was to sell quickly. We had also considered the idea of subdividing the house, given the 170 square meters of the house, but the house was divided into a main part and a part without. The utilities of the main part would not have been taken over because of the non-noble part, and vice versa. We could have divided it, as Casavo did, but we didn't trust ourselves to make the investment. We imagined that the buyer would prefer to make the choice himself, but evidently the best option was that of delivering the final result. The fear was that we wouldn't satisfy potential buyers, but evidently we were wrong, given Casavo's quick resale.

How did you find the sales process with Casavo?

At first, the new and fast formula makes you think for a moment. Such a difficult choice resolved in such a short time. However, I wasn't very skeptical, my brother was quite skeptical, so we decided to have our notary and our lawyer check the process.

The process was quick, clear, and kept its promises. I was impressed with how the agent managed to resell the property, given that the market hadn't been very interested in it in 2019.

Would you recommend the sales process with Casavo?

Yes, absolutely. The process was quick. If you're in a hurry and want to raise cash immediately, then Casavo is the right choice. If you want to try to make the investment yourself, I couldn't do it in a year. Casavo did better than me.
