If 2019 had started with a 1.2% drop in used home prices, the second quarter closed with a positive result, marking an increase of 0.2%. This trend emerges from the latest analysis of the price index presented by Idealista, which highlights how the annual result remains negative, with a decrease in prices of 2.3% compared to the same period in 2018.

The results in the months between April and June are still negative in most Italian regions (16 out of 20): a record negative for the Aosta Valley which loses 7.1%, followed by Puglia (-3.8%) and Basilicata (-3.3%). Prices are rising in Sardinia, Tuscany and Lombardy.

In the large cities, Milan (+4.6%), Bologna (4.5%) and Florence (3.3%) continue to grow. As in previous months, Turin remains stable, while Rome and Naples lose 0.7% and 1.5% respectively.
