Hi Viller, can you tell us a little about your old house?
The house we decided to sell was a studio apartment that we had been renting for years. The tenants were mostly students, and as we know, they don't pay much attention to the condition of their apartments, and ours was often returned to us in a disastrous state. My wife and I lived there for a year while our house was being renovated. It was a very quiet apartment in a beautiful 19th century building.
What led you to sell?
My wife and I are now getting on in years and, in all honesty, we are even thinking of leaving Milan. There is no point in having too many unused properties.
Had you already put the house up for sale before contacting Casavo?
Not this one. We had put another apartment up for sale through a traditional real estate agency and let's just say that the experience was not the best: just think that after 3 months we haven't received a single request for a viewing.
