House prices in Turin area by area

Turin is a city where people come for many different reasons: study, work, its ancient and prestigious history. Whatever the reason that brings you to the former capital of the Kingdom of Italy, its austere charm and its lively cultural, artistic and gastronomic offerings will win you over in no time.

Get ready to discover each neighborhood and the prices per square meter of the areas of Turin to find the best home for your projects.

District 1 (Historic Center)

Turin's number one district includes the stately streets and squares of historic center and Crocetta. The elegance of the center is the ideal solution for living in the heart of the city, among monuments and Baroque-style buildings. Crocetta, on the other hand, is a triumph of tree-lined avenues and Art Nouveau architecture where you can wander in the peace of the pedestrian area.

In these two renowned areas, property prices per square meter in Turin range between 2,700 and 3,100 euros.

District 2

In the second district we find the Mirafiori and Santa Rita neighborhoods, perfect areas for families with their green spaces and many services for all ages. The former Mirafiori industrial complex has been transformed over time into a highly attractive sector for the population of Turin, thanks also to prices per square meter that do not exceed 1,900 euros.

Circoscrizione 3

The third Turin district includes the areas of Borgo San Paolo, Cenisia, Cit Turin and Pozzo Strada, and has extended west of the city center since the 19th century. Starting in the 1960s, industrial complexes began to move outside the city limits and the quadrant discovered a new life with an urban transformation that made it a place of interest and attraction for students and young workers, with square meter valuations that did not go beyond 2,100 euros.

Circoscrizione 4

Also west of the center of Turin we find the neighborhoods of San Donato, Campidoglio and Parella gathered in the fourth district. San Donato is particularly appreciated for its Art Nouveau buildings that leave room for simpler structures in the Campidoglio district, created to house small artisans in 2-3 story buildings with gardens, and Parella. A quiet and welcoming district for families, but also for working men and women who do not want to give up proximity to the center. Prices range from €1,700-1,900 to €2,100-2,300.

District 5

The fifth district in the northwest area includes ancient villages such as Madonna di Campagna and Lucento, whose first settlements date back to the 15th century. Today, the northwestern quadrant is mainly home to residential areas with house prices in Turin among the lowest, around 1,300 euros per square meter.

Circoscrizione 6

The sixth arrondissement extends for over twenty-two square kilometers across the northern neighborhoods of Barriera di Milano, Regio Parco, Barca, Bertolla, Falchera, Rebaudengo and Villaretto. Areas with very different traditions and characteristics, but united by their proximity to large green spaces, which makes them interesting residential solutions starting from 1,300 euros, reaching over 2,000 depending on the distance from the parks.

Circoscrizione 7

We remain north to follow the Po and Dora rivers through the seventh arrondissement divided between Aurora, Vanchiglia, Sassi and Madonna del Pilone up to the hill of Superga. A very large portion of territory, whose prestige increases as you climb the hills, along with prices. While in Vanchiglia you can find accommodations from 1,900 euros per square meter, in Superga the average goes up to 2,500-2,700 euros.

Circoscrizione 8

The eighth arrondissement extends in the southern sector from San Salvario to Lingotto, a former FIAT factory that now hosts some of the city's most famous events. San Salvario is renowned above all for its selection of clubs and nightlife, making it ideal for young people and students, but in this part of the city there is no shortage of housing options of all types. Prices per square meter for properties in Turin start from 1,700 at Lingotto and exceed 3,100 euros in Cavoretto and Gran Madre, elegant and refined areas.

House prices in the province of Turin

If you are looking for accommodation away from the urban chaos but without moving too far from the city, the surroundings of Turin offer some interesting small towns to plan your Piedmontese life.

West of Turin

In the western hinterland the towns of Grugliasco, Rivoli, and Collegno offer elegant homes in historic and quiet settings. The city is half an hour by car, or 15 minutes by train (with the exception of Rivoli). Given the short distance from the center of Turin, house prices are in line with the city average, starting from 1,300 euros and exceeding 2,000 euros.

Other areas

You can also find attractive solutions in other directions. To the south of the city, the municipalities of Moncalieri and Nichelino, very close to the Lingotto, offer a lively cultural scene and prices never above 1,800 euros. To the north, the town of Venaria Reale, dominated by the Reggia, offers greenery, art, and prestige with prices around 1,300 euros. Moving east, however, your happy oasis could become Chieri, a town with a history and winemaking tradition where you can live right in the center for around 1,500 euros per meter.
