“The non-invasiveness and efficiency of the service immediately won me over and allowed me to rely on the Casavo experience.”

Claudio

Hi Claudio, can you tell us a little about your old house?

The apartment that my sister and I decided to sell was my mother's house. A very nice two-room apartment on Via Cabella in Milan, the area I must say is very pleasant and above all well-stocked, but still peripheral.

The story by Claudio

What led you to sell?

When my mother è When we reached the point where we had to decide whether to keep the house, without using it, or rent it out. I hadn't really considered the possibility of renting it out long-term because I'm skeptical; you never know who might come along. The other option was to turn it into a B&B, but at that point it would have been necessary to find someone to look after it. It's true that the organizations that deal with it are able to do it independently, but it was already starting to feel like a second home, and in that area I don't think there's a market thriving enough to guarantee continuity in rentals. That's why we ultimately decided to sell.

Had you already put the house up for sale before contacting Casavo? How long did it stay on the market?

I tried to place an ad, and about 25 contacts responded to me, 24 of which were agencies. I placed the ad on Immobiliare e Subito, making an investment, that is, paying for the ad for 3 months with the possibility of going to the first band every week. In fact, I must say that in the first week there was a great response, but all agencies. They were agencies that wanted to act as an intermediary between my sale and the buyer. The problem wouldn't have been paying the agency fee, but I couldn't have trusted 25 different agencies. It wasn't worth it. Furthermore, in the first 15-20 days I had decided to do a bit of experimentation and see what kind of response I would get, avoiding intermediaries. I must say that I only tried this sales method for a short time, also because I was contacted by Casavo shortly after.

How did you discover Casavo and what made you trust us?

I didn't know Casavo, I was contacted by phone by Daniele who had found the ad on the bulletin boards where I had posted my apartment. After calling me, he came, viewed my apartment and explained the Casavo system to me. That's where it all started.

I must say that I immediately found your proposal interesting in theory; Obviously, it then had to be validated in practice. I continued with the process and managed to sell my apartment immediately. There were some bureaucratic aspects that slightly lengthened the process, because, being an inheritance, there were a series of documents to provide, but I must say it was exclusively a problem of bureaucracy and not of the process.

How did you find the sales process?

Casavo relieves you of a series of tasks: it's true that there is a cost, but frankly it's the same as negotiating on the market. Furthermore, the cost is offset by the fact that you don't have to follow the entire process up to the sale, which is already a time saving for those who work. And then there is actually a greater ease in selling the property, also because you can then renovate it and give it added value.

Would you recommend Casavo?

Absolutely yes, I would recommend this sales process. I also spoke about it with some people, both out of curiosity because I was struck by the new formula, and to inform someone who was really interested in buying a house.
