Milan, 29 January 2024 – Casavo, the European scaleup that offers smart solutions for selling and buying homes, does not limit itself to evaluating properties; in the real world: now it brings its real estate valuation algorithm to the fictional universe of the series "Berlin", the famous spin-off of "La Casa de Papel." The company has in fact valued the two iconic properties that have fascinated the public so much. On one side, the Château d'Ormesson-sur-Marne, valued at 50 million euros, and on the other, the penthouse where Berlin (Pedro Alonso) falls in love with Camille (Samantha Siqueiros), valued at 2.5 million euros.
Casavo's approach highlights the potential of its technology and its interest in France, a market in which the company has been operating since October 2022. In an effort to blend reality with fiction, the company has made its evaluation tools available for the successful prequel to "La Casa de Papel."
The Château d'Ormesson-sur-Marne: a dream castle in France
In the heart of Ormesson-sur-Marne, in the French department of Val-de-Marne, stands this majestic castle, built in the 16th century and expanded in the 18th century, which still preserves within its walls part of the history and luxury of those times. With a living space of 2,000 m2 spread over four levels, it has a total of 25 rooms, including 10 salons, a library, and a church. The castle, a symbol of the passionate love story between Berlin and Camille in the series, is surrounded by a 40-hectare green area, divided into forests, golf courses, and gardens.
Casavo estimated that the economic value of this iconic property would be around 50 million euros, focusing exclusively on the built-up square meters of the land. To arrive at this figure, the team and its algorithm considered the price per square meter of the neighborhood and analyzed all the castles advertised in the region in the last year, as well as the specific characteristics of the property mentioned. It's worth noting that this figure does not take into account the added value attributed to the castle due to its current status as a historic monument.
Penthouse in the center of Paris: elegance with a view of the Seine
On the streets of Paris, Casavo turns its attention to a penthouse located on the fifth floor, in a strategic geographical location near the Place de la Concorde and with a panoramic view of the Seine. Although the series does not reveal the exact square footage, the residence is described as spacious and luxurious. With one bedroom, one living room, one walk-in closet, one bathroom, and a breathtaking view of the Seine, this penthouse promises a unique experience.
This property The property would have an estimated valuation of €2.5 million according to Casavo's algorithm, which, in addition to the aforementioned features, is able to consider thousands of data points in the neighborhood after more than a year of activity in the French capital. This includes all transactions of similar homes and price trends.

The platform's ability to provide objective and transparent valuations, for both real and fictitious properties, reflects its innovative approach and its contribution to the transformation of the real estate sector.
