Antonella, Carlo, can you tell us about your old house?

The house we lived in together for these years is located on a street parallel to the Via Appia. We have always felt very comfortable here, especially for the convenience of our home, as well as being in a nice area. In 15 minutes you can reach the historic center, thanks to the public transport connections - it is definitely a strategic location, which is uncommon in a big city like Rome.

Why? Have you decided to sell?

We are now approaching retirement, even though we have a small business that we will continue to run. We have a property outside Rome where we will go to live - everything will be a bit different, it will be a little traumatic to change. We will have to get used to the new spaces, the new distances, but we will certainly be more relaxed, with a different quality of life.

When you decided to sell, was Casavo your first option?

When we made up our minds and made the decision to sell, we started looking for solutions that would allow us to do so with peace of mind, especially since we both work late at night. We needed a solution that would allow us to sell our house without upending our lives. We discovered Casavo online and, after carrying out the online valuation, they contacted us for an initial visit.

In the meantime, we actually also informed ourselves about other possible alternatives. In fact, we wanted to understand what the value of our house could be; it seemed difficult to us that an algorithm would work so well. Especially in a city like that. After considering the various alternatives, we chose to sell our house to Casavo.

The sales process, we must admit, immediately seemed more complex than we expected and than it turned out in practice. The documentation was complex and, since we didn't yet know your situation, we enlisted the help of our lawyer to verify all the points. The colleagues from the Casavo team in Rome, however, were always very helpful and the human relationship that was created with them allowed us to trust them and successfully conclude the sale of our house.

Despite these delays, which helped us better understand the sales process with Casavo, we managed to sell within the timeframe we were assured!

Do you think you have sold off your house by choosing Casavo?

È It's natural, when you decide to sell quickly, to consider that you'll be giving up part of your potential profit. This happens whether you choose Casavo or another alternative that still has costs (listings, professional photography, etc.). You therefore need to understand how much you're willing to give up in economic terms, knowing that this translates into a saving in terms of time. Many times, in fact, time can be crucial for doing other things: perhaps moving to a new house, paying off the mortgage, making a major investment. It's the same thing that happens when you decide to sell a used car to a dealer: by doing so, you know that it won't be valued at its best, but often you don't have time to advertise on online sites, organize visits with potential buyers, and all the rest.

Selling a house has these same complexities, which we considered when we chose Casavo. Just organizing and managing the various viewings would have been a problem for us. We both work, we would have had to ask for holidays, permits, or keep our shop closed for appointments that, sometimes, the buyer doesn't even show up.

Besides simplifying the sales process, what are the reasons why you chose Casavo?

What we really liked about Casavo is that it is a team made up of young people; for us, that is very important. Furthermore, by knowing the people and developing a human relationship with them, we were also able to overcome doubts related to the sales process. Of course, if the sales process were more streamlined, it would be even easier to sell to Casavo, because the team's availability resolves all other potential issues.
